A few days ago, while browsing some blogs, I came across the Netflix Book Tag and I thought to myself, why not try it out. You can find the original tag created by A Dark Shade of Whitney here.
It’s been forever since I’ve done a book tag so let’s jump right in.
Girls of Paper and Fire – Natasha Ngan and James Patterson
I came across this book while on Goodreads and I immediately started reading it. I finished it in 2 days, and I haven’t read such a great book with strong female LGBT characters in a while.
(PS. Book review coming soon)
The Selection Series – Kiera Cass
Based on the faction before blood plotline of Divergent along with the survival of the fittest narrative of Hunger Games, the Selection is a prettier and a queenly version of a battle which I immensely enjoyed reading.
Olympian Heritage – Astrid Arditi
Greek Mythology has always been a number 1 for me and after Olympian Challenger, I had to get my hands on this one.
Throne of Glass – Sarah J Maas
Throne of Glass is the answer to both the questions as I have read ToG but haven’t really read it to the point of falling in love with the characters or reading the sequels. I’m going to get there though. Soon.
A Recipe for Disaster – Belinda Missen
I adored the daily bickering of a chef and baker, who although had feelings for each were still in a broken marriage. The ups and downs in the book were far too candid to ignore. A perfect comedic recipe of chaos.
The Red Queen – Victoria Aveyard
I just cannot come to terms with Maven Calore’s obsession with Mare and the lengths he goes to have her next to him. He starts a war just so he can possess Mare again. If that’s not dramatic AF then what is?
Fangirl – Rainbow Rowell
Caraval Series – Stephanie Garber
I would read this book series over and over and over and still not get tired of the amazing world that Garber has created.
A Court of Wings and Ruin – Sarah J Maas
Feysand forever. The adventure in this book is AMAZING. No words to describe it.
You are not alone – Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen
Cannot wait for another thriller by this super duo.
Share your thoughts down below. If you have any book tags that would be fun to work on, please let me know. 😊
