A few days ago, while browsing some blogs, I came across the Netflix Book Tag on Becky’s Book Blog and I just had to try it out!
It’s been forever since I’ve done a book tag so let’s jump right in.
How many books do you usually read at once?
It totally depends on my mood. Sometimes I read 3 books at once or then I’m solely focused on 1 book.
How do you decide when to switch between multiple reads?
When my mind starts getting distracted or bored with a certain book, I stop reading it. I pick up the next one and read and the cycle continues. That way when I start reading the previous one, I’m in a better mood to finish it.
Do you ever switch bookmarks partway through a book?
No, I just go with one bookmark. Unless I lose my bookmark and then use anything that I can find available next to me such as a tissue paper or a random book.
What time of day do you read the most?
Afternoons and night time before sleeping. The best times I’m relaxed and able to read peacefully. Unless, I really want to finish the book then I’ll sit with at all times.
How long do you typically read in one session?
A couple of chapters, depends on the time at hand.
Do you read hardcovers with the dust jacket off?
Yes, they are really annoying and keep moving. It’s better to read the book without it and then put it back on once I’m done reading.
What position do you mainly use to read?
Haha, that escalated quickly 😉
I start off reading in a sitting position and as the book progresses, I’m in a mostly sitting slash sleeping position and then end up with a neck cramp and bad back!
Do you take your current read with you everywhere you go?
Yes, I have to. I get anxiety If I’m taking a trip and I don’t have my book. Even if I know that I won’t get time to read, my book will be there with me. It’s like if I don’t know what to do, I’m sitting in a corner and reading.
How often do you update your Goodreads reading progress?
Considering I own this blog and have to keep the authors of the books I review, updated. I regularly update my Goodreads. Probably like once a week.
