It’s been ages since I’ve read the original Cinderella story. It’s a whole new generation and we have amazing new stories in the form of Cinderella retellings. Not necessarily, the same scenario as I’ve read a few books that have a nice post-apocalyptic plot. This is one story that I can never forget as I’ve grown up with it and I’m excited to read new retellings too. Here’s the list of my favourite stories.

Top 5 Thursday | Mermaid Books
I have been fascinated by mermaids since I was a child. The torso of a human and the bottom of a fish, I’m sure can fascinate any child. With the current trend of mermaid’s nails, makeup, cakes, and more; I thought why not try some mermaid books.
These books are not necessarily a re-telling of ‘The Little Mermaid’, that will be a different tag altogether. I have selected some books where mermaids are seen as saviours of the realm and also as flesh eating monsters. Which ones do you prefer?
